Who needs a book coach?

As a published author, I continue to work with coaches. Just as a dentist needs other dentists, so, too, do writers need other writers for encouragement, accountability, and an extra set of eyes on the work.

Whether you’re just getting started on your first story or you’ve written several books and want to up your game, I can help. I’ve been a professional freelance writer for over 40 years. My first four books were traditionally published: two for children and two nonfiction for adults. A memoir will be self-published in the Fall of 2024. so I have experience with many aspects of publication.

When should I hire a writing coach?

Regardless of where you are in your writing journey, a writing coach can help you improve.

Just like a CEO of a successful Fortune 500 company may have a business coach on the side, a writer may do the same to reach his or her full potential. Few become successful on their own. We all need mentors and coaches to take us to our highest level.

Is it worth it to invest in a writing coach?

As your coach, I’ll help you improve your skills, grow your confidence, find your writing voice, and discover your writing strengths.

My job as a coach is to guide you to become the best writer you can be—while inspiring you to find true fulfillment in your work.

Yes, you can do it on your own. But having a coach greatly speeds up your voyage to book writing success!
